Card playing day

Oh my goodness.
I feel soooo bad. I haven't written in FOREVER! My new years resolution is to write in this everyother day!! Well, Christmas was great. I enjoyed church (for the first time in ages), I went to grandma's which is always a great time. I got alot of Vera Bradley accessories. I got a big duffel bag, a hip bag, coin purse, and hot iron holder. I got other good stuff, too. I am super excited for New Year's Eve. I am babysitting a large group of kids. What a blast!

National Brownie Day

Hola!

Oh my goodness, I have not written in forever. Sorry about that, there is just a lot going on in life.
Well in the previous weekend I was a Church Retreat Leader and it was amazing.
I was touched by the stories, and the love of God. I love life, and there is not much I would change at this point. I am currently looking for a job, I want to work. I am tired of sitting around being lazy, when I could be doing something important. Well I need to go. I will try to write again soon!

Stop the Violence Day

Bonsoir! Well I am babysitting right now. It is only 6:40 and the little boy is asleep. I am just kinda hanging out until his mom gets home. Last night I went and saw TWILIGHT. It was not as good as expected. I then stayed the night at Savannah's house. We didn't get to bed until about 3 this morning, and woke up at 7. Oh goodness I was tired. I am well rested now. Cleaning awakens me. Well I should get going. I feel like a bad babysitter, just standing here on the computer. Write again soon!

Beautiful Day

Salut!(Hi) All is well in the house. Everything is moving right along.
Marli and I hung out all night tonight and it was fun. We are becoming CSI buffs. Actually I am kidding, we are starting to watch the show more. It interests us both. Goodness, I have homework to do so I better get going. Just thought I would write a few words, since I haven't done such lately.

World Peace Day!

Hola! Right now I am sitting a table away from about 7 elderly women, and it is so entertaining. Just to hear that they have gossip at their age, it amazes me! I am just sitting here on my computer while Maci is making coffee. She made me a great APPLE CIDER, it was awesome!
By golly. It was snowing today!!! But it did not stick. I am so proud of myself, I have lost over 5 pounds last week. Softball workouts really help! Oh gosh, I keep loosing my voice, what a shame. Osh kosh b'gosh. The house is moving along. Excited am I! Well I am going to read this book thing for church on Wednesday and write a review! Write again soon!

America Recycles Day

hello. Today was a super long day. I woke up at 9 and then left and 11:20 and didn't get back until about 5:30 tonight. Good news is that I got a winter coat and some clothes! Ethan was his normal funny self. I kind of feel like a bad sister though. Today, Maci was going to watch one of her movies (that I watched a week ago), and when she got to her dad's house to watch it, it wasn't in the case. So she had to come all the way back over to get it. I called to appologize, that way it didn't seem intentional, because it wasn't at all. Any ways, yesterday I babysat for maybe 7 hours and it was a blast. I loved it. It is such a great oppertunity to be able to do. Well I am going to go watch a movie now.

National Write Love on Her Arms Day

Bonjour! :D Today was greatish. I was super sore from my first strenghtening practice for softball yesterday. Oh goodness, I will have nightmares about running for months. And I had to walk home from school, it wasn't cold or anything, it just wasn't on the list of things to do today. Then right when I walked in the door, the people I babysit for called and wanted me to babysit in 10 min. So, I got re-ready and left. WOOOO! Tomorrow is Friday, and I babysit again!!! Thanksgiving Break is in like 2 weeks and I am pumped! Laurie and I are going shopping with her sister and her step daughter. It should be bundles of fun. Then the week after that I think we are going to visit my grandmas in KY. I have not see either of them in FOREVER!!! Ah! Sickness is creeping into my body... what a shame. Well today I thought about someone I need to see soon (THE MOORE FAMILY), I miss them quite terribly. Oh yeah, last night I talked to my great uncle and it was nice to hear from him. I miss him alot also. Goodness I need to get going, I have homework for biology tomorrow and I want to type up my French vocab list (it's a real long list). So I will write soon!

veteran's day

Well today we didn't have to go to school. It was nice and relaxing, much needed. Not much else has been going on, except a lot of homework. In the mail today or yesterday (don't know when it arrived exactly), my passport came! That means I am one more step closer to my France trip in June 2009!! In case I didn't tell anyone I am going to France, Belgium, and Switzerland for 9 days. It is through the school, and was open to any French student at school. It should be a great time. Also, someone looked at our house today. They came by suddenly and we were kind of caught off guard, but I believe it went well. The house is another step closer everyday! Write again soon.

Chaos Never Dies Day

Hey this is Riley! I thought I would start a blog so I can tell about my week/day. Also so I can keep family and friends far and near just how my life is going (in case they ever wondered). I will attempt at keeping my blog updated, but no promises.

Well, today was a great day. This week was just great in general. All day yesterday I raked yards for elders of Blessed Sacrament. It was a great time, and it was worth the soreness I have today. On Friday, Maci, Marli and I all went to Build-A-Bear and made animals. Maci made a Leopard, Marli a Koala, and me a Moose. Today, the family and I (besides Maci, who had to work), went to church and stayed for lunch. The service was about temptations that we go through being a christian. Even though it looked like I wasn't paying attention, I was thinking really deeply about everything going on and how I face temptations daily. Earlier on today, it was just Ethan and I. I made him dinner and we talked and made jokes like normal. I am glad we grew out of the mean feelings we had towards each other that we had when we were younger. OH YEAH! Amy came home with baby Cooper on Thursday and stayed until Saturday. I visited with the Grey's Anatomy group on Thursday, just like I used to a few years ago.
Then Friday I babysat Cooper while the ladies went out to eat. He was so cute, it was insane. I have been doing a ton of babysitting lately, and I enjoy it entirely. I am kind of a regular babysitter for this family, who has a daughter my age. Her and I are gradually becoming better friends.
Also as time goes on Marli and I are becoming closer and closer. I can tell she looks up to all of the older kids very much. She has such a great heart and loves everyone even if they are sometimes mean or teasing.
All has been great in our house. The new house is coming along fast, and the family and I are so anxious to move in.
